The 50 Reunion is already in the early stages of planning at Cosford (Weekend of Fri 28th May 2010) on the occasion of 50 years since our enlistment at Cosford).

At this stage of planning, have decided to opt for the Park House Hotel, Shifnal www.parkhousehotel.net - which is only 5 miles from Cosford. Lovely Hotel, with excellent reports from other Ex Boys who have stayed their in the past for their Reunions & get togethers.

Initial Price (per night) is £75 for a Double Room, including Breakfast & accommodation for 2.

Plenty of eating places in Shifnal Town for an evening meal, if required - or you may wish to dine in.

.Shifnal Town is a lively place with lots of good pubs, with easy accessto the Motorway and localattractions.

For those who find it too expensive, there are alternatives near by -e.g M54 Motorway Sevices Motel, justa mile up the road. Other may wish to just spend the Saturday Night atthe Park House Hotel, to minimise costs. Many, we hope, will feel it is worthwhile to have an excellent venue in view of the special occasion.

The intended trip (and parade) to Cosford will in anycase take place onSunday - along with a visit
to the Cold War Museum, which is brilliant.

The Hotel will offer us a group discount nearer the time, dependant on numbers. We need maximum publicity on this and it is intended to put somethingin the RAF News nearer the time, perhaps getting Don Maciver to get something in the RAFA Mag as he is actively involved with them in Stornoway.

40-50 2010 TIES

Hi Steve,

I have managed to locate the original design and as far as I can see we are just changing the 4 to a 5 and adding 2010 in the centre of the logo. The set up charge for these alterations will be £30 and price per tie will be £5.06 for 24, £4.87 for 36 and £4.68 for 50. Please add 48p for Clip On Ties. Minimum order is 24 and minimum per colourway is 12.
